AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction™
When you are ready to initiate a road construction project, AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction™ is your first step. It is an online system for managing project information and automating processes during the early phases of a construction project – including proposal preparation, estimation, bid letting management, and project award.
AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction permits the flexible definition of a project and its associated funding requirements to track and manage project cost information. The system supports preparation of the Engineer’s estimate for Federal Aid highway construction projects, allows projects to be combined into proposals for bid letting, and permits the selection of a group of proposals for a bid letting package. It also aids in advertising bids, tracking plan and proposal holders, processing bid information, evaluating bids and making award decisions.
To assist in letting and bid award management, AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction allows for data entry with full edit checking and verification for vendor bids, produces the bid tabulation report and performs analyses on received bids. The system also maintains the Planholder’s List, produces mailing lists and maintains information for invoicing vendors for proposals and plans purchased.
